Allstate Underwriting Agencies has announced a strategic partnership with Mitsui Sumitomo Insurance (MSI) to enhance its capacity in providing insurance solutions for medium, small, and hobby farms across Australia.
This collaboration is set to bolster Allstate's presence in the farm pack market, offering tailored products that meet the specific needs of these farming segments.

The partnership introduces coverage that includes farm property limits up to $7.5 million per location and vehicle limits of $5 million per policy. This comprehensive approach ensures that farmers have access to robust insurance options that safeguard their assets and operations.

Rodney Bond, Head of Commercial Operations at Allstate, emphasized MSI's strong capital base and growth-oriented mindset as key factors in the partnership. He highlighted that this collaboration enables Allstate to continue supporting the agricultural sector and to innovate coverage options that deliver excellence to farmers.

David Hall, Head of Distribution at MSI, noted that the insurer focuses on underwriting agencies with clear growth and profitability plans and a long-term perspective. Supporting Allstate aligns with MSI's growth strategy and commitment to the agricultural sector.

For Australian farmers, particularly those operating medium to small-scale farms, this partnership signifies an enhanced availability of tailored insurance solutions.
